Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dr. Michael Morrison graduated from the University of Colorado at Anschutz with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May of 2008 where he was president of his class. He spent 9 years working in Florida where he was director of Fitness Quest Physical Therapy’s Sarasota office. In April of 2017 the prodigal son came back to Colorado to work in a small out of network clinic in the Boulder area.

Michael has established himself as one of the go to physical therapists in the front range where his passion for helping his patients not only recover, but raise their baseline and achieve a life that is not just lived, but thrived, is rivaled by few. He enjoys working with endurance athletes, namely cyclists and runners, as well as  climbers and ball sport athletes. Michael has the skill set to help the beginner achieve their first 5K while also having the expertise to work with world record holders, olympians, and is the preferred PT for a local top 10 men’s and women’s DII cross country team. Michael loves getting to know the individual in front of him and connects with them as a human first, then making a plan to address their concerns. Michael also brings experience in the areas of treating vertigo/ vestibular patients as well as TMJ pathology.

Outside of work in the clinic, Michael performs bike fitting, coaches with a local run club and is on faculty in the Endurance Division of the Institute of Clinical Excellence, a company that provides continuing education for physical therapists. You can find Michael out on a run, biking, hiking, camping, cooking in the kitchen, or sitting quietly in the mountains listening to a flowing river by himself, or more likely with his beautiful wife and two wonderful daughters.
